Inspire Moore Winery's Framboise - Delicious Raspberry wine!

Greetings foodies!

This weekend was a very nice one. I had a chance to go to a Yankees game, and more importantly for your interests, I finally got around to having my inspire Moore's raspberry Framboise.  This little gem is pure raspberry wine with residual sugars around 25% if I remember correctly.

Inspire Moore's Raspberry Framboise
Inspire Moore's Raspberry Framboise!  This bottle is older,
so the label has their old name, Imagine Moore.  Different name, same great wine!

I received this as part of a mixed case that I purchased from Inspire Moore a few years ago, in 2010 perhaps.  After being so impressed by Tim and Diane Moore's wines, I wanted to try everything that they produced.  They were very kind and made me up a mixed case thay included all 12 of their offerings (at the time).  They also gave me a nice 20% discount on the case, which came in handy, considering that the Raspberry Frambois was around 22 dollars and the icewine they offered was considerably more.  I'm not against paying a higher price for something special like a Raspberry or ice wine, but in general I tend to stick to wines that are more commonly priced for more common, typical consumption.  Of course, every now and again one must treat themselves to something nice :)

We took this picture of the Framboise outside before the ritual consumption!

I'd been meaning to open this wine for quite some time, but the opportunity simply hadn't come along.  A dessert wine like this isn't just for daily consumption - me and the lady  are working people!  Finally, a couple of weeks ago I decided that enough was enough I had to have this tasty wine already, it wasn't doing anyone any good just having it around the house.  But I couldn't just drink it by itself - that would be too simple, and indeed, disrespectful to the wine :)   Instead I picked up a small cake from L'Anjou, a French bakery in town.

The sexy framboise had fun posing for photographs by the logs :)

After getting everything ready and taking the requisite pictures to show you, my blog reading public, we finally began to eat the chocolate cake along with the Raspberry wine.  Wow.  Let me tell you, the experience was incredible. Inspire Moore's raspberry framboise was absolutely delicious, and combined with the small chocolate cake made for three very, very happy people. Drinking a sip of this wine with a mouthful of the chcocolate cake was enough to make one's tastebuds explode with happiness.  The look on the lady's face as her eyes rolled back into her head was priceless!

Along with a tasty quality made chocolate confection,
this is a combination made in heaven.  Best wine pairing ever!

While not all of the wines I got from Inspire Moore were exactly what I was looking for, they were all completantly made and I would definitely endorse them as producers of fine, quality wines.  If you haven't already, you can take a peek at the mixed case I got from them via this link right here :)

Bottle of Raspberry Wine from Inspire Moore
Raspberry wine is an amazing thing.

I think the last time I saw Tim Or Diane Moore was at the Bethel Woods wine festival last year, with Tim showing off some of his delicious Pinot Noir.  I can't wait to find Inspire Moore again at one of these shows - or at this point, perhaps a trip up the the other Finger Lakes and Naples, NY (where Inspire Moore is located) is in order.

Raspberry Wine or Framboise from Inspire Moore.
This bottle was so good- I wish we  had some more.  Or dare I say... Moore?

With respect to the delicious Raspberry Framboise from inspire more winery, I have to recommend that you try some of their delicious wine. I believe this retails for around $23 for the 375 mL bottle.  If you can't find this product in stores, simply check out their website at http://www.inspiremoorewinery.com .  Tim and Diane Moore make a tasty glass of wine and you would be remiss to miss out on their offerings.  They are just one more shining example of how good the wines of New York Finger Lakes region can be!

As I'm typing this up, the lady also wanted me to mention to you that this delicious framboise would be good drizzled over vanilla ice cream or soaked into a vanilla cake.  My lady also advises me that people should have this in small doses, because it's sweet and syrupy- and actually packs a nice punch.  This small 375ml bottle was just enough split between three people - it's a treat and should be treated as such!

Cheers!

  4. Howdy this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or
if you have to manually code with HTML. I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding skills so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
