Mana-Thai Cuisine in Mount Kisco, NY - Another Incredible Meal!

Alright folks, we're back with another delicious meal eaten at our favorite Thai restaurant, Mana-Thai Cuisine in Mount Kisco, NY.

We've previously reviewed Mana-Thai Cuisine, but we can only show you so many things at once!  If somehow you haven't read our previous review, please do so now at this link.  It has a few more pictures than we're showing you and gives you a good sense of what to expect.

The long and the short of it?  Mana cooks world-class cuisine which is unrivaled, in unpretentious surroundings.  We had THE most amazing meal today - come take a look and drool.

Thai Iced Tea
This Thai Iced Tea was served in a glass jar.  Kitschy!
The lady, as her fashion, started the meal with a Thai Iced tea. Mana makes an excellent Iced tea - lots of flavor, and not swimming with cream or dairy the way some other places serve it. Nice and strong, and compliments the spice perfectly. I would get one myself but usually I'm fine with just a sip for flavor.

No appetizers this time  - we came in knowing exactly what we wanted.

Plate of delicious Pad Ki Mao
This Pad Ki Mao is to die for.  Seriously - it's that good.
I simply had to get the Pad Ki Mao.  Mana's Pad Ki Mao is simply breathtaking.  There really aren't enough words in the dictionary for me to describe just how tasty, savory, spicy, and all around smack-you-in-the-face scrumptious this dish really is.  This is perfection.  Wide rice noodles, broccoli and seemingly broccolini, straw mushrooms, green bell pepper and hot spicy pepper, tomatoes, Thai basil, chicken.. other things I'm forgetting, all in an incredible sauce, make this an absolute must have.

If you've been thinking about coming to Mana-Thai and trying this, you're thinking too much.  Come and get it.  Did I mention this dish is very reasonable at $11.95 ?  The portion size is perfect - enough to fill you up, without condemning you to what would be a cardinal sin - leaving a single morsel of this wonderment on the plate!

There really isn't enough I can say about this dish.  Go try it.  It's just amazing.  World-class.

Thai Red Curry
This Red Curry was fantastic and worth straying from the Pad Ki Mao for... this time ;)
Now typically the lady and I will both order the Pad Ki Mao - it's so good, that we don't want to miss out on the opportunity to have it! But lately she's had a craving for red curry, and once again, Mana did not disappoint.

This red curry was perfection.  It honestly rivaled the Pad Ki Mao in terms of deliciousness.  The lady requested that the dish be made without green beans (she's not a fan) and instead with Broccoli and bell peppers.  Mana made the dish perfectly to order, and did a knockout job.

There was a strong, excellent red curry flavor perfectly balanced by the coconut milk - not overwhelmed by it, like some places are apt to do.  The chicken was tender and the vegetables still had a little crunch to them.  It had bamboo shoots, hot chilis, broccoli and green bell peppers, and came with just enough rice to sop up all the delicious curry sauce.  10/10.

Chopstick rest made of the chopstick wrapper.
I was wondering why she wanted the wrappers back!
Here's a nice touch - after giving us our chopsticks, the waitress took the wrappers and folded them into little origami chopstick rests.  Neat.

This is our absolute favorite Thai restaurant - and possibly favorite restaurant, period!  Come on in and try them so they can be your favorite too!
